My names Adam, I run the WRPF UK and Nottingham Strong Open.
I've been competing since 2014 and have competed across all of the categories bar Multiply so far. Whilst also being a WRPF Referee, I am also a referee for the A/BPU | A/WPC.
I originally started running unaffiliated gym competitions (NSO) in 2018, after being involved with the sport since 2014, we then went into hosting for the A/BPU and now we have the WRPF UK alongside all of that.
My main goal for what we do is to provide lifters with a platform and environment for them to perform at their best.
Amanda has been competing since 2016 and since then she has made her way up the ranks, claiming multiple cross federation records along the way.
Amanda has been a part of every singular competition that the Nottingham Strong Open has ran since 2018, a key component in making the days run as smoothly as they do.
A seasoned competitor and someone who has competed Raw, Classic Raw and now Single ply.
Aodhan is a long standing member of the powerlifting community within the UK, having competed across multiple federations, weight & equipment classes since 2013.
Aodhan is now one of the owners of Nottingham Strong, our main events venue and has a very large amount of input into the competitions we run there, along with those we run outside of Nottingham.
Adam and Aodhan work very closely in order to provide the best possible environment for the lifters who compete in Nottingham.
David joined the team to work with the data from Openpowerlifting, in order for us to set acceptable standards for the record standard and to then figure out qualifying criteria for our Pro competitions.
Whilst being a genius with data, he has also been competing since 2015 across multiple federations, with his most recent PB total being done on our platform in Nottingham.
